Built by an engineer who kept seeing clinics lose money to software
Ollo is made by a small team in Toronto, led by Shahryar Ahmed. The idea is simple. Dental clinics lose real money every week to no-shows, last-minute cancellations, and follow-up that never happens, and most of the software meant to help is too clunky for a busy front desk to actually use. Ollo does the unglamorous parts well so the schedule stays full.
Hi, I’m Shahryar. I’m a computer engineer, and I’ve built software with Coursera, Intuit, and Ceridian. Along the way I kept meeting owners who had paid good money for tools their team could never quite get into, while the schedule leaked no-shows and the follow-up fell through the cracks. It felt backwards.
So I started Ollo to work the other way. It brings overdue patients back, confirms the ones who might not show, and fills the chair the moment it opens. It plugs into the practice management system you already run, and every account and every line of code is in your name from day one. When we are done, you own it.
