Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ollo Labs (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Ollo Labs.

2. Service Description

Ollo Labs provides AI-graded practice for the IELTS exam, including writing and speaking tasks scored against IELTS band descriptors. Ollo Labs is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the IELTS consortium (British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English). Our scores are predictive estimates, not official IELTS results.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and accurate information. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Payments

Access to full features is available through a one-time purchase of $39 USD, which grants lifetime access to the core scoring features described at checkout. “Lifetime” means for as long as Ollo Labs continues to operate the Service. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details on our servers.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please review it before purchasing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for bulk scoring, automated scraping, or to re-sell scoring capacity to third parties.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or prompts behind the scoring engine.
• Share, republish, or commercially distribute the scored feedback or rubric output produced by the Service without our written permission.
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates the intellectual property of others.
• Use the Service to impersonate another candidate or to defraud an institution.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the essays and speaking recordings you submit. By submitting content, you grant Ollo Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service (for example, sending it to our scoring partners and returning feedback to you).

Ollo Labs retains ownership of the scoring output, rubric feedback, UI, prompts, branding, and underlying software. You may use the feedback for your personal IELTS preparation but may not resell or redistribute it.

8. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-generated scores and feedback are approximate and intended as a study aid. Scores may differ from an official IELTS examiner’s assessment by approximately ±1 band in either direction. Ollo Labs is not a substitute for the official IELTS test and does not guarantee any specific outcome on your real exam.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ollo Labs’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Ollo Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost study time, exam outcomes, immigration decisions, or university admissions decisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If the changes are material, we will notify registered users by email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
